Stone recognizes the importance of providing a comprehensive benefits program to support our employee-owners. We have developed a benefits package that delivers quality and value while also satisfying the diverse needs of our workforce. This benefit summary is designed to help potential new employee-owners further understand the value of the benefit options offered by Stone.

Stone’s employee-owners take a direct stake in the value and health of the company through an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP). This unique ownership and management model is a powerful motivator that inspires close cross-department collaboration and company-wide unity. Stone has an excellent compensation package, including competitive pay; health, dental, and vision insurance; 401K with company match; ESOP benefit; paid time off; and flexible holidays.

Employee Stock Ownership Plan

Stone’s employee-owners take a direct stake in the value and health of the company through an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) that is 100% funded by the company. The ESOP is a long-term plan where employees will benefit from the profitability and growth of the company throughout the years. This unique ownership and management model is a powerful motivator that inspires close cross-department collaboration and company-wide unity. 

Medical Plans

Stone provides employees and their dependents benefits for medical insurance and prescription drugs, and an optional voluntary employee funded dental coverage plan. As part of our health insurance plan we offer a Health Reimbursement Account and Dependent Care / Flexible Spending Account (DCA/FSA). These programs allow the employee to have pre-tax dollars deducted from salary to pay for eligible out-of-pocket expenses during the plan year.

Combined Paid Time Off and Holidays

At Stone, we combine sick and vacation into one combined paid time off plan that is based on your years of employment. In addition, we also offer paid holidays.

Retirement Plans

Employees may contribute to a traditional before-tax 401K and/or after-tax Roth account up to annual IRS limits. Stone will match your contribution up to 4% each pay period.

Tuition Reimbursement

Stone offers an education assistance benefit to employee-owners for undergraduate and graduate coursework that is job-related, to help the employee-owner further their knowledge, skills, and job effectiveness through higher education. This benefit applies to formal classroom or online learning coursework and programs offered by an accredited school, college, or university. 

Employee Assistance Program

To help promote the health and wellness of our employee-owners and their household members, all employee-owners are eligible to have 24/7 free access to wellness workshops and confidential counseling for a wide range of life issues.

Active Lifestyle Reimbursement

All employee-owners who invest in healthy activities for themselves can offset a portion of these costs with a contribution from Stone.
