Stone partnered with local engineers in 2006-2007 to conduct a wastewater feasibility study for Westford's Town Center zoning district, an area of 78 properties (roughly 1,000 acres), most of which are developed with single-family residences. Although the Town Center is Westford's designated growth center, the area's natural features make increasing development density a challenge, even on the existing relatively large lots.
