Alan Samel, MS Senior Ecotoxicologist
Alan is a senior ecotoxicologist with nearly 40 years of experience in the crop protection industry and global pesticide regulatory processes. He has served as study director, study monitor and risk assessor on hundreds of regulatory and non-regulatory studies, ranging from acute daphnid toxicity tests to outdoor mesocosm and pond studies. Alan’s expertise includes ecological risk assessments, endangered species assessments, and screening-level studies, including new approach methodologies. He is an active SETAC member, with over 30 presentations at North American and European meetings and has participated in various SETAC committees and interest groups. |
