Branden Martin, PE Water Resources Engineer
Branden is a hands-on engineer with diverse experience in civil-site engineering, stormwater management, retrofit planning and design, stream and floodplain restoration, dam removal, and water quality assessment and design. At Stone, Branden works with agencies, organizations, and site owners across the State of Vermont to help develop and implement plans and practices designed to improve water quality, reduce erosion hazards, increase flood resiliency, and restore natural ecosystem balance. His current work includes a blend of green stormwater infrastructure and low impact design, hydraulic & hydrologic modeling, stormwater and retrofit planning and design, stream restoration and dam removal design, stream bank stabilization, illicit discharge detection and elimination, project quantity and cost estimation, and construction oversight. Branden is a licensed Vermont Professional Engineer and an active member of both the Vermont Society of Engineers (current First Vice President) and the Vermont Section of the American Society of Civil Engineers (current Past President and New England Council delegate). Branden was recognized with Vermont's 2020 Young Engineer of the Year Award.
