Rudy Bentlage Staff Geoscientist
Rudy brings experience in project management and science communication to his role as a geoscientist at Stone. Previously, he worked on all aspects of ecological restoration projects such as wetland restoration and creation, streambank stabilization, living shorelines, and dam removals working for a specialized contractor. After working in construction, he moved to a coastal consulting company. While supporting clients in permitting and contractor procurement processes for dredging and coastal construction activities, he developed skills in preparing technical bid specification documents, subcontractor management, writing and following sampling and analysis plans, evaluating proposal packages, and bidder selection. Rudy draws from his experience and geology background to support environmental investigations, contractor oversight, and report production.
