Stone developed APCOAT in early 2022 to support efficient geospatial analyses required under the Endangered Species Act. The tool rapidly produces probabilistic spatial modeling reports of pesticide use and species distributions in terrestrial and aquatic environments, combining those models to assess co-occurrence. Co-occurrence statistics can be summarized by state, crop reporting district, county, or watershed to support planning and conservation decision-making.
