Killington Resort Area Initial Site Investigation for Per & Polyfluoroalkyl Substances in Drinking Water and Surface Water

Act 21 regulates per- & polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) in public drinking water systems in Vermont as passed in 2019. In the Killington Resort Area, Vermont, several public drinking water systems served by bedrock wells have PFAS detections above the maximum contaminant level (MCL). The public transient non-community (TNC) water systems include Killington Mountain School, Killington Village Inn, and Chalet Killington. In response to the PFAS exceedances in public drinking water, Stone performed an initial site investigation of the Killington Resort Area.
