The City of Cambridge, Massachusetts, partnered with Stone to modernize its watershed monitoring system to oversee land use and development affecting the city’s water supply. The Cambridge Water Department’s Site Monitoring Program transitioned from a paper-based workflow to a streamlined spatial data infrastructure that integrates Microsoft PowerApps, ArcGIS Online, and a SQL Server database. This solution enables efficient data entry, mapping, and compliance tracking both in the field and at the office—empowering staff to manage updates independently and improve oversight of watershed impacts without relying on custom software.
